Wedding slideshow revolution ahead ?

Wedding photojournalists love telling stories with their craft. But I found it a bit frustrating to only use images to tell stories...

I would love to capture your wedding with five senses, but image+sound beats image alone...

This is how it all started... and I've produced my first multi media wedding slideshow, a mix of photos and sounds captured on the wedding day. I really love it. It's longer than most wedding slideshows, because there's more in it... 3 songs are used instead of a single one... and HD definition makes it perfectly suited to that latest HD TV you have...

I love slideshows, and I've been doing slideshows for almost every wedding I shot... It's a modern way to present photos, way more modern than albums... Albums are still required, but modern couples, modern weddings require modern technologies... Having your wedding slideshow on your iPhone is hard to beat ! in your purse at all times ! Share it on Facebook ! Send it through emails...

Slideshows can be shared much more easily than albums. And I think weddings are all about sharing with friends and family: sharing emotions, love, beauty and fun. Slideshows just make it more practical and powerful.

Marion et Gregory au Cours Julien

Une séance photo avant le mariage qui a du style... Ce n'est pas parce qu'on est plutôt romantique qu'on n'a pas le droit de s'amuser un peu !

Marion et Gregory se marieront en juillet à Lyon, mais Gregory est de Marseille... C'était l'occasion pour une belle séance !

Des tags partout, de la couleur, de la vie ! Il n'en fallait pas plus pour faire notre bonheur !

New York s'invite au New Hotel of Marseille

Adriana et Vincent vivent à New York et c'est tout naturellement qu'on a préparé une séance dans un environnement urbain et assez branché... avant leur mariage.

A l'origine prévue ailleurs, la séance s'est déroulée au New Hotel of Marseille, palace phocéen aux couleurs acidulées et résolument moderne !

Et sous le regard amusé d'un illustre américain !

Adriana, Vincent, Mille mercis pour ces moments privilégiés qu'on a passés ensemble !

Ashley and Ramsey got married at the beautiful Villa Massoury

Ashley and Rawsey came from California to get married in Villefranche sur Mer, in the somptuous Villa Massoury.

It all started at the Meridien Hotel, on the Promenade des Anglais in Nice, where Ashley got ready with her bridesmaids... The atmosphere was fun and glamorous !

Here we are... ready !

Well... Almost ready... Emotions are high when it's time to put the veil on...

Then we headed to Villefranche sur Mer, where the reception took place, at the wonderful Villa Massoury. We had enough time for some bridal photos...

Ashley hid until the beginning of the ceremony... So let's meet with the groom who just arrived with his ushers... That's a cool attitude guys !

The ceremony was set outside, just in front of the sea. The weather couln't be nicer, warm and sunny, but just not too much...

Emotion was there too, as Ashley and Ramsey exchanged vows.

Did I mention three gorgeous bridesmaids in black dresses ? Sooo haute !

This ceremony was loaded with emotion, and all friends and familly shared the couple's joy !

Formal (well, not so formal) photos were easy with Ashley and Ramsey !!!

Definitely a great fun bridal party !!!

The dinner and the whole reception were unforgettable !

So.... how was the party ?

There were so many good vibes I just couln't stop shooting !

Last one... I talked a lot about how beautiful the Villa Massoury is... Here it is, captured at night.

Ashley and Ramsey, thank you so much for sharing all these with me.

It's fair to say that Sandrine and Aurélie, from Kreatis, organised a wonderful wedding !

Carine et Roméo au Domaine du Fond du Broc

Avant leur mariage au Domaine du Fond du Broc, j'ai rencontré Carine et Roméo pour leur séance avant le mariage... Ambiance très décontractée et occasion rêvée pour faire connaissance avant le mariage !

Et pour finir, une photo qui me tient à coeur tant elle permet de juger de la démesure du Domaine du Fond du Broc et de sa cave voutée impressionnante !

Wedding photography in Nice with Karen and Aaron

Karen and Aaron got married at La Coquillade this weekend, and before they leave back home in Vancouver, Canada, we planned a third shooting session in Nice ! Their engagement session in Roussillon and their wedding were also really fantastic... I was excited to be with them again, as they're very friendly and fun to work with !

We first met at the Westminster Hotel, on the Promenade in Nice. This hotel is a very classy and classic luxuous hotel right in front of the beachin Nice ! The staircase is incredible and we had to shoot there ! I love the classy atmosphere and how the architecture blends into the photos...

Karen and Aaron wanted a mix of traditional and more modern/fun photos... We did just that !

Then we headed to Saint Jean Cap Ferrat, which has fantastic settings for beach photos... The light was perfect, as the sun was setting...

We didn't trash the dress at all, but these photos on the beach clearly have a TTD kind of look.

Karen and Aaron, thank you again for your kindness! I really enjoyed the friendly relationship we had, and I think it has allowed pretty amazing photos !
